My name is Lena Geue and I am a musician and songwriter currently based in Hamburg, Germany.
I studied jazz vocals and music pedagogy, choir conducting and composition in Osnabrück and Bern.
I work as a solo artist, as one third of the trio plastiq and as a composer for theatre productions. I also support other people’s projects as a guest vocalist or instrumentalist.
My instruments are my voice, guitar, synthesizer/piano and violin.
I compose and produce songs and lyrics as well as pieces for choir that are based on improvisation. Improvisation and creating and practicing new concepts of playing music (be it alone or in the context of a group) is the center of my creative work as a musician.
